I just got my new Audi A6 and am trying to connect my iPhone for the first time using Apple CarPlay. Can anyone guide me through the process?
ReplyTo connect Apple CarPlay in your Audi A6, first make sure your car is in park and the engine is running. Then, go to the Settings in your iPhone and select General, followed by CarPlay. You should see Audi A6 as an option. Select it, and enter the VIN shown on your car's touchscreen. Your phone should now be connected to the car's CarPlay system, giving you access to your phone's apps and features through the car's display.
The Audi A6 is equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay connectivity, meaning you don't even need to plug in your phone! Simply enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your iPhone, and make sure your car's Bluetooth is also on. Then follow the same steps as mentioned before in the Settings app. Keep in mind, however, that not all iPhones are compatible with wireless CarPlay.
