How to check transmission fluid in Audi A5?

I recently noticed that my Audi A5 is having trouble shifting gears smoothly. This made me wonder if my transmission fluid needs to be checked. Can someone guide me on how to do it?

First, make sure your car is on a level surface and the engine is warm. Then, locate the transmission dipstick which is usually labeled with a bright color. Pull out the dipstick and wipe it clean with a cloth. Re-insert the dipstick and pull it out again to check the fluid level. If it is below the minimum mark, add the recommended transmission fluid. If you notice the fluid is dark, burnt or has a strong odor, it's time for a fluid change.
