I've noticed that my Audi A2 has been running a little rough lately, and a friend mentioned that I should check the oil levels. How do I do this?
ReplyTo check the oil levels in your Audi A2, first make sure the engine is turned off and the car is on a level surface. Locate the oil dipstick, usually a brightly colored handle near the engine, and pull it out. Wipe it clean with a paper towel and then reinsert it. Pull it out again and check that the oil levels are between the minimum and maximum markers. If it's below the minimum, you'll need to add more oil.
Before checking the oil levels in your Audi A2, be sure to let the car sit for at least 5 minutes after driving to allow the oil to settle. Pull out the dipstick, wipe it clean, and reinsert it. Pull it out again and check the levels. If it's low, use a funnel to slowly pour the recommended type of oil into the engine, and check the levels again. Repeat as needed until the levels are between the minimum and maximum marks.
