How to check the oil level on an Audi A6?

I recently purchased an Audi A6 and want to stay on top of its maintenance. Can you provide instructions for checking the oil level and recommended frequency for doing so?

To check the oil level on your Audi A6, start by parking the car on a flat surface and allowing the engine to cool down for at least 10 minutes. Locate the oil dipstick near the front of the engine and remove it. Wipe it clean with a cloth or paper towel, reinsert it all the way, and remove it again to get an accurate reading. The oil level should be between the two marks on the dipstick. As for frequency, it is recommended to check the oil level every 1,000 miles or once a month, whichever comes first.
