I just bought a used Audi 80 and want to make sure the engine is running smoothly. Can someone walk me through the steps of checking the engine oil and what to look for to ensure it is in good condition? Thank you!
ReplyTo check the engine oil in your Audi 80, start by parking on a level surface and turning off the engine. Open the hood and look for the oil dipstick, which is usually labeled with an oil can symbol. Pull out the dipstick and wipe it clean with a towel. Then, reinsert the dipstick and pull it out again, this time checking the oil level against the markers on the dipstick. The oil level should be between the minimum and maximum markers. If it is too low, you should add more oil.
