How to check and replace worn brake pads on an Audi 80?

The brake pads on my Audi 80 seem to be worn out and I'm experiencing a decrease in braking performance. What are the steps to properly check and replace these brake pads?

To check your brake pads, first, lift your Audi 80 on a level surface and remove the wheels. Then, look for the brake pads behind the wheels. If they are less than 1/4 inch thick, it's time to replace them. To replace them, use a C-clamp to compress the caliper, remove the old pads, and install new ones. Don't forget to bleed the brake system afterwards.
