How to check and replace brake pads on my Audi A2?

I am worried about the worn-out brake pads on my Audi A2 and would like to know how I can check and replace them without going to a mechanic. Can someone guide me through the process step-by-step?

First, park your car on a flat surface and engage the parking brake. Then, loosen the lug nuts on the wheel of the damaged brake pad using a lug wrench.

Next, use a jack to lift the car off the ground and remove the wheel completely. You should see the brake caliper and rotor now.

Check the condition of the brake rotor and look for any signs of wear or damage. Then, using a C-clamp and a piece of wood, squeeze the caliper piston back into its bore to make room for the new brake pads.
