How to change the tire on an Audi A1 without damaging the hubcap?

I recently got a flat tire on my Audi A1 and I want to change it myself. However, I don't want to damage the hubcap in the process. Can anyone provide me with some tips or instructions on how to change the tire without damaging the hubcap?

First, make sure to park your car on a flat and stable surface. Then, use a lug wrench to loosen the lug nuts before lifting up the car with a jack. When removing the lug nuts, place them inside the hubcap to prevent them from rolling away or getting lost.

Once the lug nuts are removed, carefully remove the flat tire and replace it with the spare tire. Make sure to line up the tire with the wheel studs before tightening the lug nuts in a star pattern. Use just enough force to secure the tire, as over-tightening can cause damage to the hubcap.
