How to adjust the Adaptive Cruise Control in my Audi Q3?

I recently purchased an Audi Q3 and I am having trouble adjusting the Adaptive Cruise Control. It doesn't seem to maintain the distance I have set and sometimes it abruptly accelerates or slows down. Can somebody provide some guidance on how to properly adjust this feature?

In order to properly adjust Adaptive Cruise Control in your Audi Q3, you will need to use the controls on the steering wheel. The buttons with the speed icon allow you to set the desired speed, while the buttons with the distance measurement allow you to adjust the distance between your car and the car in front of you. It is important to also pay attention to the speed and distance indicators on your dashboard to ensure you have set it correctly.

I suggest checking the distance sensor located on the front of your Audi Q3. If there is any dirt or debris covering it, it may not be functioning properly. You can clean it gently with a soft cloth to see if that resolves the issue. If not, it may need to be replaced.

I have had the same issue with my Audi Q3 and found that adjusting the sensitivity of the Adaptive Cruise Control can make a big difference. You can do this by going to the settings menu on your dashboard and selecting 'Driver Assistance'. From there, you can adjust the sensitivity of the feature to your liking.
