How often should the timing belt of an Audi 80 be replaced?

I have just purchased a used Audi 80 and I am unsure when the timing belt needs to be replaced. Can someone provide me with some information on when and how often this maintenance should be done?

According to Audi's recommended maintenance schedule, the timing belt of your Audi 80 should be replaced every 90,000 miles or every 6 years, whichever comes first.

It's always best to err on the side of caution and replace the timing belt at or before 90,000 miles to prevent any potential damage to the engine. It's better to be safe than sorry.
