How does the Audi A6's adaptive cruise control work in traffic and on long drives?

I've heard that the Audi A6 has adaptive cruise control, but I'm not sure how it actually works. Can it handle stop-and-go traffic and longer drives on the highway?

The Audi A6's adaptive cruise control uses radar and camera technology to monitor the distance between your vehicle and the one in front of you. It can handle stop-and-go traffic by automatically adjusting your speed and braking as needed. When on the highway, it can also maintain a set speed and distance from the vehicle ahead, making longer drives more comfortable and less tiring.

I've tried the Audi A6's adaptive cruise control on long drives and found it to be very effective. Just make sure to keep your hands on the wheel and pay attention to the road, as it's not a fully autonomous feature. But it definitely makes driving more enjoyable and less taxing on longer trips.
