How do you reset the oil service indicator in an Audi 80?

I recently got an oil change for my Audi 80, but the oil service indicator is still showing. How can I reset it to reflect the new oil change?

To reset the oil service indicator in an Audi 80, turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Press and hold the odometer button until the display shows the service message. Release the button, then press and hold it again until the display shows "confirm with service." Release the button once more, then press and hold it until the new service interval is displayed.

One way to reset the oil service indicator in an Audi 80 is to use a diagnostic tool, such as VCDS or OBDeleven. Connect the tool to your car's OBD system, then follow the prompts to reset the indicator.

If you don't have access to a diagnostic tool, you can also try disconnecting the car battery for a few minutes. This may reset the indicator, but it could also reset other car systems as well. Proceed with caution.
