How do you activate the virtual side mirrors on the Audi e-tron?

I am having trouble figuring out how to use the virtual side mirrors on my Audi e-tron. Can someone explain the process to me?

To activate the virtual side mirrors on your Audi e-tron, locate the mirror control button on the driver's side door panel. Press and hold the button to switch to the virtual mode, where the camera displays will replace the traditional mirrors.
