How do I use the Audi A7's virtual cockpit feature?

I recently purchased an Audi A7 and I am unsure of how to use the virtual cockpit feature. Can someone please explain the steps and features of this function?

The virtual cockpit feature can be accessed through the MMI display or by using the steering wheel buttons. Once activated, you can customize the display to show navigation, audio, or vehicle information.
