How do I turn off the automatic start-stop system on my Audi A7?

I find the constant stopping and starting of the engine annoying and I want to know how to disable it. Can anyone help?

You can turn off the automatic start-stop system by pressing the button next to the gear shift. This will disable the system until the next time you start your car.

To permanently disable the start-stop system, you can visit a dealership or a mechanic to have it programmed out of your car's computer.
