How do I troubleshoot a malfunctioning stereo system in my Audi 80?

I recently purchased a used Audi 80 with a stereo system that is not functioning correctly. The radio turns on, but there is no sound coming from the speakers, and I'm not sure where to start in troubleshooting this issue.

First, check all the speaker connections and make sure they are secure. Loose connections can cause audio issues in a car stereo system.

If all the connections are secure, then the next step would be to check the fuse for the stereo system. A blown fuse can also cause loss of audio.
