How do I troubleshoot a faulty air conditioning system in my Audi 80?

My Audi 80's air conditioning system seems to have stopped working. The air coming out is not very cold and sometimes there is no air flow at all. What could be the possible causes and how do I fix it?

The first thing to check is the refrigerant level in your car. Low refrigerant levels could be the reason for the lack of cooling. You can either check it yourself or take it to a professional to do a full diagnostic test.

Another possibility is a faulty compressor. This can be a more expensive fix as the compressor is an essential part of the air conditioning system. If you suspect this might be the issue, it's best to take your car to a mechanic for further diagnosis.

Sometimes, a clogged air filter can also cause reduced air flow and poor cooling in the car. Check the air filter and replace it if necessary. This is a relatively easy and inexpensive fix.
