How do I troubleshoot a broken electric window on my Audi A4?

I recently noticed that the electric window on the driver's side of my Audi A4 has stopped working. The window doesn't move at all, no matter what button I press. How can I troubleshoot and fix this issue?

First, check the fuse for the electric window. It may have blown and need to be replaced.
