How do I switch the headlights on my Audi A3?

I recently purchased an Audi A3 and I am having trouble figuring out how to turn on the headlights. Can someone walk me through the steps?

To turn on the headlights on your Audi A3, locate the control knob on the dashboard and turn it to the 'headlights on' position. You should also make sure your parking brake is disengaged for the headlights to work properly.

In addition to the control knob, you can also use the steering wheel controls to turn on your headlights. Simply press the 'lights' button on the left side of the steering wheel.
