How do I reset the tire pressure monitoring system on the Audi A3?

As a new Audi A3 owner, I noticed that my tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) light keeps coming on. How do I reset it to make sure my tires are properly inflated and I am not at risk for a blowout?

First, check your owner's manual as the reset process may vary slightly depending on your specific model. In general, you can reset the TPMS by pressing and holding the TPMS button on the dashboard for about three seconds. Additionally, make sure your tires are properly inflated according to the recommended PSI for your vehicle.

You could also try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and then reconnecting it. This can sometimes reset the TPMS.

If the TPMS light continues to come on, there may be an issue with the system itself and you should bring your car to a certified mechanic for further assistance.
