I recently purchased a used Audi A5 but the tire pressure warning keeps coming on. I've checked the pressure and everything seems to be fine. How can I reset the TPMS to get rid of the warning?
ReplyTo reset the TPMS in an Audi A5, start by turning the ignition on but don't start the engine. Then, press and hold the TPMS button until the TPMS indicator blinks 3 times. Release the button and let the car run for a few minutes. This should reset the system and the warning should disappear.
You can also try disconnecting the negative terminal of the car's battery for a few minutes and reconnecting it to reset the TPMS. This has worked for me in the past.
