How do I reset the tire pressure monitoring system in an Audi A5?

I recently purchased a used Audi A5 but the tire pressure warning keeps coming on. I've checked the pressure and everything seems to be fine. How can I reset the TPMS to get rid of the warning?

A

To reset the TPMS in an Audi A5, start by turning the ignition on but don't start the engine. Then, press and hold the TPMS button until the TPMS indicator blinks 3 times. Release the button and let the car run for a few minutes. This should reset the system and the warning should disappear.

You can also try disconnecting the negative terminal of the car's battery for a few minutes and reconnecting it to reset the TPMS. This has worked for me in the past.
