How do I reset the oil warning light on my Audi A5?

I have recently changed my own oil and filter and have checked and topped up all the various fluids. However, the oil warning light in my Audi A5 still won't go off. Is there a specific procedure I need to follow to reset the warning light?

To reset the oil warning light on your Audi A5, follow these steps: 1. Turn on the ignition without starting the engine. 2. Use the controls on your steering wheel to navigate to the 'Car' menu. 3. Scroll down to 'Service and Checks' and select it. 4. Scroll down to 'Oil Change' and select it. 5. Select 'Reset Oil Change Interval' and then 'Yes' to confirm. This should reset your warning light.

You may also need to reset the oil service reminder in the instrument cluster. To do this, turn on the ignition but do not start the engine. Press and hold the '0.0/SET' button on the instrument cluster until the message 'Service Reset?' appears. Release the button and then press it again to confirm the reset.

If the above methods do not work, you may need to use a diagnostic tool or take your Audi A5 to a dealer for a reset. However, make sure to drive the car for a few miles after changing the oil to ensure it is not just a delay in the warning light turning off.
