I just got my oil changed at a non-Audi dealership and now my oil change indicator is still on. How do I reset it manually without bringing it to a dealership?
ReplyTo reset the oil change indicator on your 2020 Audi A5, first start your car and press the Menu button on the MMI system. Scroll over to 'Car' and then select 'Oil' from the list. From there, you can select the option to reset the indicator. If you are still unsure, refer to your owner's manual for more detailed instructions.
I had the same issue with my A5 and took it to the dealership. They told me that you have to perform the reset with the car running, not just with the accessory mode on. So make sure your engine is actually running when you go to reset the indicator.
If you are unable to reset the oil change indicator on your own, I recommend taking it to an authorized Audi dealership for assistance. It's always better to be safe than sorry when it comes to important maintenance like this.
