How do I reset the MMI in an Audi?

I'm having issues with my Audi's multimedia interface (MMI) and I think a reset may fix it. How do I go about resetting the MMI?

To reset the MMI in an Audi, first turn on the ignition and press and hold the volume knob and the CAR buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds. The MMI should then shut down and restart.
