I recently bought a used Audi A2 and it's showing the service reminder. I've tried following the manual but it doesn't seem to work. Can someone please guide me through the steps of resetting the service reminder?
ReplyTo reset the service reminder, press and hold the trip reset button on your dashboard until the display changes to 'Service Reminder Reset'. Then, release the button and press it again to confirm. The reminder should now be reset to 0 miles.
I had the same issue with my Audi A2 and the service advisor told me to try disconnecting the car battery for a few minutes, which worked for me. Just be sure to have your radio code handy as it will need to be reprogrammed.
If your Audi A2 has the digital service schedule feature, you can also reset the reminder through the car's settings menu. Just go to 'Car Settings', then 'Service Interval', and select 'Reset Service Interval'.
