How do I reset my Audi's MMI (Multi Media Interface)?

I'm trying to use my Audi's MMI and it seems to be frozen. How can I reset it and get it working again?

To reset the MMI on an Audi, press and hold both the MENU and CAR buttons simultaneously for about 10 seconds. This should restart the system and resolve any freezing issues you may be experiencing.
