How do I replace the AC compressor on an Audi A2?

I have noticed that the AC compressor on my Audi A2 is making strange noises and I think it needs to be replaced. Can anyone give me a step-by-step guide on how to do it?

The first step is to disconnect the negative battery cable and remove any components that may obstruct access to the compressor. Once you have cleared the way, use a wrench to loosen and remove the belt from the compressor pulley. Be careful not to damage any surrounding parts.

Next, remove the refrigerant from the system using a recovery machine or a shop vac. Then, disconnect the AC lines from the compressor. You may need to use a flare nut wrench for this step.

After that, unbolt the compressor and remove it from the vehicle. It may be necessary to use a jack to support the engine during this step. Take note of the location and orientation of any mounting hardware to make installation easier.
