How do I maintain the tires on my Audi A5?

I just bought a brand new Audi A5 and I want to make sure I am taking proper care of the tires. What maintenance tasks do I need to do and how often should I do them?

First and foremost, it is important to regularly check your tire pressure. Low tire pressure can lead to uneven tread wear, decreased fuel efficiency, and even cause blowouts on the road. Make sure to check your tire pressure at least once a month and before any long trips. Your Audi A5 also has a tire pressure monitoring system that will alert you if your tires are low.

Rotating your tires on a regular basis is also important for maintaining their longevity. The recommended interval for tire rotation is usually every 5,000 to 7,000 miles. This will ensure that the tires wear evenly and prevent any potential issues in the future.

Another key aspect of tire maintenance is checking the tread depth. The tread should ideally be at least 2/32 of an inch deep to ensure proper traction and performance. If the tread depth is too low, it's time to replace your tires.
