How do I know if my Audi needs a new air filter?

I recently bought a used Audi and am not sure when or if the air filter needs replacing. What signs should I look for?

Usually, it is recommended to change your air filter every 12,000 to 15,000 miles or once a year.

You may notice a decrease in engine performance or a decrease in fuel efficiency. These are signs that your air filter may need to be replaced.

Do a visual inspection - if the filter looks dirty and clogged, it's time for a replacement. It's always better to err on the side of caution and replace it sooner rather than later.
