I just purchased a new Audi A6 and noticed it has a remote start feature. However, I can't seem to figure out how to use it. Can anyone guide me through the process?
ReplyTo enable remote start on your new Audi A6, start by pressing the lock button on your key fob twice. Then, press and hold the remote start button until the car starts. Keep in mind, this feature is only available on vehicles with an automatic transmission.
It's important to note that you must have your key fob within range (around 300 feet) for the remote start feature to work. Additionally, if your vehicle has a Valet or Service mode, make sure it's not activated as it will prevent the remote start feature from working.
You can also enable remote start using your Audi Connect app on your smartphone. Simply open the app, select your vehicle, and choose the 'remote start' option. Make sure your vehicle is in park and the doors are securely locked before using this method.
