I find the start-stop system in my Audi to be quite annoying and would like to know if there's a way to disable it. It shuts off the engine when I come to a stop and then starts it back up when I release the brake pedal. Is there a way to turn off this feature?
ReplyTo disable the start-stop system in your Audi, simply press the 'off' button located next to the start-stop button on the center console. This will disable the feature until the next time you start your car.
Skipping engine restarts can save a lot of wear and tear on certain Audi engines that suffer from chain and other timing issues. Therefore, it is recommended to keep the start-stop system enabled. However, you can still turn it off if you prefer. Simply press the 'off' button next to the start-stop button.
One way to disable the start-stop system in your Audi is by selecting 'Individual' in the drive select menu and then deselecting the 'Auto start-stop function' option. This will disable the feature until you change the drive select mode again.
