I've been experiencing some discomfort with my Audi A5's start-stop function and I would like to know if there is a way to disable it. Whenever I come to a complete stop, the car shuts off and then starts up again once I release the brake pedal. Is there a way to turn off this feature?
ReplyTo disable the start-stop function on your Audi A5, press the 'CAR' button on the MMI control panel. Next, select 'Settings' followed by 'Drive' and then 'Start-Stop'. Choose 'Off' and then press the 'Return' button to save the changes.
The start-stop function can be disabled by pressing the 'ECO' button on your Audi A5's center console. This will switch off the engine start-stop function until the next time the vehicle is started.
