How do I check the oil level on my Audi A3?

I recently purchased an Audi A3 and I want to make sure I am properly maintaining it. Can someone guide me on how to check the oil level and when should I do it?

To check the oil level on your Audi A3, park the car on level ground and make sure the engine has been turned off for at least 5 minutes. Locate the oil dipstick, which is typically yellow or orange in color, and pull it out. Wipe it clean with a cloth or paper towel and reinsert it. Pull it out again and check the oil level on the dipstick. If it is between the two markers, your oil level is good. If it is below the minimum marker, you should add more oil.

It is recommended to check your oil level every 1,000 miles or once a month, whichever comes first. However, if you notice any oil leaks or if your car is consuming more oil than usual, it is a good idea to check it more frequently.

Regularly checking your oil level is important for the overall health and performance of your Audi A3. Low oil levels can cause engine damage and costly repairs. Make sure to also follow your manufacturer's guidelines for oil change intervals and use the recommended type of oil for your car.
