To check the engine oil level on your Audi A4, start by parking on a level surface and turning off the engine. Locate the oil dipstick, which is usually yellow in color and labeled 'Engine Oil'. Pull the dipstick out and wipe it clean with a towel or rag. Then reinsert the dipstick all the way and pull it out again. The oil level should be between the minimum and maximum marks. If it's below the minimum mark, you'll need to add more oil. If it's above the maximum mark, you'll need to drain some oil.
