How do I check my Audi A2 transmission fluid level?

I just bought a used Audi A2 and want to make sure the transmission fluid is at the correct level. Can someone explain the steps to check and add fluid if needed?

First, park your Audi A2 on a level surface and wait for the engine to cool down. Locate the transmission dipstick and remove it. Wipe it clean with a towel and re-insert it. Once removed again, the fluid level should be between the two markings on the dipstick. If it is low, add the recommended transmission fluid through the dipstick tube.
