How do I check my Audi A1's transmission fluid?

I recently purchased a used Audi A1 and want to make sure the transmission fluid level is correct. Can someone walk me through the steps to check it? Thank you!

It's important to regularly check your Audi A1's transmission fluid to ensure smooth shifting and prevent potential damage. Follow the same steps as checking the engine oil, but make sure you are using the correct type of fluid specified in the owner's manual. If you're unsure or uncomfortable doing it yourself, it's always best to have a certified mechanic handle it for you.

As a longtime Audi A1 owner, I suggest checking the transmission fluid every 6 months or 5,000 miles, whichever comes first. Also, be sure to check the color and smell of the fluid. If it's dark and has a burnt smell, it's time for a fluid change. And always use genuine Audi transmission fluid to prevent any potential issues down the road.

To check the transmission fluid on your Audi A1, first warm up the engine by driving it for about 10 minutes. Then, park the car on a level surface and wait for a few minutes. Open the hood and locate the transmission dipstick, which is usually labeled. Remove the dipstick, wipe it clean, reinsert it, and then pull it back out. The fluid level should be between the 'full' and 'add' marks. If it's below 'add', you'll need to add some fluid.
