How do I change the headlight bulbs on my Audi A6?

I recently purchased a used Audi A6 and noticed that one of my headlight bulbs has burnt out. How can I go about changing the bulb myself?

First, make sure to purchase the correct bulb for your specific Audi A6 model. Once you have the new bulb, open the hood and locate the back of the headlight assembly. Remove the rubber cover and disconnect the electrical plug attached to the back of the bulb. Gently twist and pull out the old bulb and insert the new one in its place.
