How do I change the automatic transmission fluid on an Audi A3?

I'm planning on doing a service on my Audi A3 and want to know how to properly change the automatic transmission fluid. I have experience with basic car maintenance but have never worked on an Audi before.

To change the automatic transmission fluid on your Audi A3, you will need a few tools and follow a specific process. Start by locating the drain plug on the bottom of the transmission, and unscrew it to drain the old fluid. Next, remove the transmission pan and replace the old filter. Refill the transmission with the appropriate fluid and use a dipstick to ensure it is at the right level. Finally, reset the transmission adaptation values using a diagnostic tool.
