ReplyFirst, start by adjusting the side mirrors so they are in line with your own side view mirrors. Then, tilt them outward until you can no longer see the side of your car. This will expand your view and eliminate any blind spots.
One helpful trick is to sit in the driver's seat and lean your head against the driver's side window. Adjust the side mirror until you can just see the side of your car. Repeat for the passenger side. This method helps minimize blind spots and gives a wider view.
Don't forget to also adjust the side mirrors vertically. You want them to be at the same height as your eyes, so you don't have to tilt your head up or down while driving. This will also improve your visibility.
