I recently purchased an Audi A4 and I am trying to adjust the sensitivity of the lane departure warning system. It seems to be going off too often, even when I am not drifting out of my lane. Can someone please explain how to adjust this setting?
ReplyTo adjust the sensitivity of the Audi A4's lane departure warning system, go to the vehicle's settings menu and select 'Driver Assistance', then 'Lane Departure Warning'. From there, you can adjust the sensitivity to your preference.
You can also turn off the lane departure warning system completely if you find it too sensitive. Just go to the same menu and toggle the switch to 'off'. However, we recommend keeping it on for added safety on the road.
If you want to keep the lane departure warning system on but reduce the sensitivity, try adjusting the steering wheel vibration setting instead. This will still alert you if you drift out of your lane, but with a less intrusive warning.
