I have an Audi R8 with the optional Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system and electronic limited-slip differential (eLSD), but I'm not sure how to properly adjust the eLSD. Can anyone give me some guidance on how to optimize the performance of this feature?
ReplyThe eLSD on the Audi R8 is automatically adjusted by the ESC system. However, if you want more customization, you can access the ESC button on the center console to adjust your drive mode settings. In Dynamic or Sport mode, the eLSD will provide more aggressive rear torque bias for enhanced handling and control.
I have found that the most effective way to adjust the eLSD on my Audi R8 is through the Audi Drive Select system. By choosing the Individual mode, I am able to customize the suspension, transmission, and eLSD settings to my liking.
Don't forget to also adjust your tire pressure when adjusting the eLSD. Higher tire pressure will help the eLSD perform at its best, while lower pressure can provide more grip and stability. Make sure to check the recommended tire pressure for your specific Audi R8 model.
