How do I activate hill start assist in my Audi A1?

I have recently purchased a used Audi A1, but I can't seem to figure out how to activate hill start assist. Can someone please provide me with the steps to do so?

To activate hill start assist in your Audi A1, first make sure that your car is in gear and you are on a hill. Then, press down firmly on the brake pedal and release it slowly. The hill start assist will kick in and hold the car in place for a few seconds, giving you time to move your foot over to the gas pedal without rolling back. Don't worry, it takes a bit of practice to get used to!

I had the same issue when I first got my Audi A1. To activate hill start assist, first press the 'car' button on your dashboard, followed by 'car settings' and 'hill start assist'. Make sure to save the settings and you should be good to go!

To activate hill start assist, simply press and hold the 'Audi drive select' button on your dashboard for a few seconds until the settings menu pops up. Then, go to 'hill start assist' and turn it on. It's always a good idea to have this feature on, especially on steep hills.
