I recently purchased an Audi A1 and noticed that it has an automatic start-stop function. How do I activate this feature and are there any tips for maximizing its effectiveness?

To turn on the automatic start-stop function, press the 'A' button on your center console. I've found that this feature works best in heavy traffic or when waiting at red lights. Do keep in mind that it may lead to slightly higher fuel consumption as the car has to start up more often.
