How can I troubleshoot a malfunctioning fuel pump relay in an Audi 80?

I have a 1996 Audi 80 and I noticed that my fuel pump is not receiving any power. I suspect it might be due to a faulty fuel pump relay, but I'm not sure how to troubleshoot it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

The first step would be to check the fuse for the fuel pump relay. If it is blown, replace it with a fuse of the same rating and test it again. If the fuse is not the issue, then you can use a multimeter to check if the fuel pump relay is receiving power and if it is functioning properly.
