How can I reset the service indicator light on my Audi A1?

I recently had my car serviced at a local mechanic and the service indicator light is still on. How can I reset it myself?

You can reset the service indicator light by turning on the ignition, pressing and holding the mileage reset button, and then turning off the ignition. Release the button and the service indicator should be reset. Make sure to consult your car's manual for specific instructions.

S

In newer Audi A1 models, you can reset the service indicator light using the infotainment system. Go to Vehicle > Service > Service Schedule and select 'Reset Oil Service' or 'Reset Inspection Service' depending on your last service. Confirm and the light should be reset.

P

When resetting the service indicator light, be careful to not mix up the mileage reset button with the trip reset button. Pressing the wrong button may result in the wrong service being reset.
