To reset the oil light, you will need to turn the key in the ignition to the 'On' position without starting the engine. Then, press and hold the 'Reset' button on your dashboard until the oil light disappears. It may take a few seconds for the light to go off. Once it does, turn off the ignition and start your car as normal.

Another method to reset the oil light is to disconnect your car's battery for about 10 minutes and then reconnect it. This will reset all the warning lights on your dashboard, including the oil light. Just make sure to have your radio code handy as it may need to be entered again after disconnecting the battery.
