How can I reset the MMI system in my 2016 Audi A1?

I recently changed the battery in my 2016 Audi A1 and now the MMI system is not working properly. It's frozen on the Audi logo and I can't access any of the features. How can I reset it?

To reset the MMI system, first open the driver's side door and press and hold down the 'Menu' button on the central console. Keep holding until the system reboots, then release. This should fix the issue.
