How can I reset my MMI navigation system in my Audi?

I'm having trouble with my MMI navigation system in my Audi. It's not responding to any of the buttons and the map is frozen. How can I reset it?

Have you tried resetting the MMI system by holding down the MENU and CAR buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds?
