How can I reset my Audi MMI system?

My Audi MMI system seems to be frozen and I am unable to change any settings or use any features. Is there a way to reset it and get it working again?

Hi Maria, have you tried doing a soft reset? This can usually be done by holding down the power button for a few seconds until the screen turns off. Alternatively, you can try disconnecting the car battery for a few minutes and then reconnecting it. If neither of these options work, it may be a hardware issue and you should take it to a certified Audi technician for further assistance.

Hi Maria, I had a similar issue with my Audi MMI and the soft reset worked for me. If that doesn't work, you may have to perform a factory reset. Keep in mind that this will erase all of your saved settings and preferences, so make sure you have a backup of them before proceeding. If all else fails, it could be a hardware issue and you will need to bring it to a professional for repair.

Hi Maria, another troubleshooting step you can try is to update your Audi MMI software. Make sure you are using the latest version and if not, download and install it. This may solve any software bugs or glitches that could be causing your issue.
