How can I fix the steering wheel squeaking in my Audi A4?

I've noticed that whenever I turn my steering wheel in my Audi A4, it makes a loud squeaking noise. It's been happening for a few weeks now and I'm not sure how to fix it. Is there a specific part that needs to be replaced or can I do something to stop the noise?

Based on the issue you described, it sounds like the power steering system may need to be checked. This is common in Audi A4 models and can be fixed with a simple replacement of the power steering pump.

If the squeaking noise only occurs when you turn the wheel at low speeds, it could be an issue with the steering column. It's best to take your car to a trusted mechanic for diagnosis and repair.

Before taking any action, make sure to check the power steering fluid levels. Low levels can also cause steering wheel noise. If the levels are low, simply top it up and see if the noise stops.
